indigo_infernoI'm just in the process of doing a friends list cut and this time around I am not posting any sort of heads up or whatever.
Why? Well .. let's see. I just don't spend enough time reading my friends list anymore anyway, and what good is it too you if I don't comment on your entries? No good whatsoever, I'd say. Apart from that, I am mainly on LJ for fandom (reading fanfiction, icons, squeeing, etc.) and a few people who are very dear to me (who definitely will not be ex'ed). Also, there were some people on my friends list who I never really talk to, don't have anything in common with or don't remember why I friended them in the first place. Then there are people who have recently left their journals or have removed me from their lists, so it makes sense to do a good spring cleaning now in one go. And besides that, I haven't been posting myself that much recently either, so it just makes sense to me to cut the list a bit now.
So. I will probably cut quite a lot of people. If you are one of them I ask you to please remove me from your list as well. (The part of me that likes things neat, tidy and balanced hasn't changed, no.)
If you are one of them and don't understand why .. well, tough luck. That doesn't sound like me? Well, tough luck again. It's just one of those things right now, and it's been long overdue, actually. So, that's it.
